The Hatley Wills 1528 -1800 - transcribed by R.V. Hatley

A remarkable collection of wills relating to the Hatley family

This book was transcribed by family historian, Ron Hatley (my late father), and involved many years of research, literally hundreds of visits to record offices and months of painstaking effort decyphering hand written wills and reproducing them in an 'easy to read' format within this book.

The earliest will relates to the property of Thomas Hatley of Cople and is dated 17th April 1528. The latest is a 'Trew inventory of ye Goods & Chatles of Philip Hatley, Blacksmith at Little Wilbraham' dated 1773.

Anyone with an interest in Hatley family history will find this book fascinating - I know I did!
